A spooky haunted house movie?

I saw this on the video, a distinct while back, and I would very much like to get a title attached to it. Basically, there was this couple who go to live in this haunted house, and their son gets possessed by this ghost, which if I recall correctly, seemed to have some past connection with the boy's mum. It was really spooky, and I would really like to find it.
