Are people in America still oppressed?

This is a non-partisan question. Do you feel that people in the United States are still oppressed? I know this question will elicit several one word answers but, I am curious to find out what group of individuals are oppressed if any. Is it that not everyone has an equal opportunity to recieve an education? Maybe many of you feel that upward mobility is impossible in our current society?
