What is & what is not taxable in Texas in respect to the sales tax?

When I go buy any thing in Texas, somethings are charged a sales tax & sometimes they're not. Some stores will charge a sales tax on some goods, while others will not charge a sales tax on the same goods. There is a rule of thumb in respect to sales tax in Texas
