Severe abdominal pains during a miscarriage after six months of pregnancy.I that a normal thing?

A miscarriage is the worst pain in the world! Has she been to the doctor because I miscarried at 19 wks and they perscribed me pain meds. Anything after 20 wks id considered a still born so I would make sure she id going to the hospital to deliver. I am so sorry about the loss!
