How long, if possible, would it take me to pick up a Scottish accent?

I'm Texan, so I was wondering how long it would take to pick up an accent after staying so many weeks in Scotland, or areas around Scotland. Is it even possible to get one? I don't have a Texan accent, but I still am Texan. Will that affect anything?
