How hard do corporate executives work?

How hard do corporate executives work. They make millions as well as great fringe benefits, because they are expected to be the best at running the company, and making it profitable. But as we can see that is not what those execs are doing. How hard do they really work or are they delegates and are those that are not making the millions working the hardest.
