White bump in ....anyone had sebaceous cyst?

went to the doctor because i had a few enlarged white bumps on . they move somewhat under the skin. they are hard like BBs. i just got them and never had one pretty big before. i was afraid it was some sort of STD. they're not like warts. they're dome shaped, smooth, and move around a little. i asked the doctor is it an STD and he took one look at them and said "not one i've ever seen". still they white bumps are there. i did shave about a month ago down there and they just started popping up now. they don't hurt but a few smaller ones i've squeezed and a little white string of stuff came out the smaller ones. almost like a zit. the big one though is harder and won't pop. almost like a cyst. it doesn't look like a wart or anything like that. anybody else have these. i just started getting these. will they go away on there own? i don't want surgery and it doesn't bother me. what are these things. the GP said something like folliculitous or cyst but not like an STD or like a wart.
